Pc Audio Equipment

- A piece of audio equipment is any device designed principally to reproduce, record or process sound. This includes microphones, radio receivers, AV Receivers, CD players, tape recorders, amplifiers, mixing consoles, effects units and loudspeakers.
- personal computer: a small digital computer based on a microprocessor and designed to be used by one person at a time
- A constable is a person holding a particular office, most commonly in law enforcement. The office of constable can vary significantly in different jurisdictions.
- P.C. is a split 7" vinyl single by the Huntington Beach, California punk rock band Guttermouth and the band BHR, released in 1993 by Signal Sound System Records. It is currently out of print. P.C. is both the title of Guttermouth's side of the record and their track.
PC Audio Editing is an essential guide for anyone wishing to make audio productions for use as recordings, or for broadcast, using a Windows PC and material acquired both in the studio and via portable equipment.
Even those experienced with editing and mixing using quarter inch tape can find the change to editing audio visually on a PC daunting. The author explains all the basic principles of this new technology and the skills you need to use it successfully, without assuming prior knowledge of the system, in a practical and straightforward manner.
This second edition introduces the reader to the new advances in the latest version of Cool Edit Pro, 2.0. The programme has been packed full of features from CD burning to MP3 streaming, all of which are covered in this juicy reference.

This evening we have made a "radiospotting" trip (several locations). Our equipment included my Uniden 3300 receiver, iCOM PCR1000 computer controlled receiver, two laptops, one running ACARS (acarsd) decoding software and the other controlling the digital radio. Simultaneously, EDACS and Motorola trunking was decoded to live audio on the other radio. Apart from that, we were running an 12 to 230V inverter which powered our onboard equipment, and we were carrying two sets of PMR radios (one of them turned out to be transmitting on american PMR band which collides with...Police frequencies in Poland!). Laptop running ACARS was fetching the aircraft databases
live from the Internet, thanks to HSDPA cellular connection (this one is capable to speeds up to 1.8 Mbit/sec, in the field!!!)
Keypad under the inverter is my onboard GSM phone and it was not used during this session (although this is curiosity by itself, it has 6(!!!) watt amplifier which makes it capable of transmitting from the bottom of the ocean).
I bet that if we would be questioned by the police about our rig on board, we would not be able to give a credible answer. It clearly looks like electronic warfare stuff!
Support Equipment In The Closet Behind the TV
Here's some of the magic that helps make my home automation automated.
Clockwise from top left:
a) HDMI over Cat5E receiver to get High Definition video from the main equipment rack.
b) RGHBV distribution amplifier: I'm sending both component video and RGBHV (PC) video over the same wires, but the TV needs to have the video split to different inputs
c) Crestron C2N-VEQ4: Does a tiny bit of audio processing and the volume control for the master bedroom
d) Current Sensor for the TV: Provides positive confirmation that the TV is on or off.

OptImage III Technology
M-Audio's proprietary OptImage III wave guide improves overall detail and clarity while minimizing sound issues that can plague other compact speakers.
